Account Coordinator

Account Coordinators should have an understanding of MediaMap, Lexis-Nexis, Word, PowerPoint and Excel.  They should be detail-oriented, great multi-taskers and able to work under the pressure of deadlines.  Account coordinators are expected to create agency materials such as briefing books and editorial calendars. Experience coordinating all of the logistics relating to press tours and media events and maintain and update target media lists is a plus.  Account coordinators should be familiar with targeted publishing houses/publications, editorial calendars, industry events and the speaker placement process.  Four year degree (preferably in communications) plus a PR internship or related experience required.
