Eastwick asked Tom Hogan to describe the new engagement marketing model of n:1 marketing. In the past, marketing was always 1:n (one to many), with companies trying to reach the right crowd with the right message. But now with social media and the Internet, according to Tom, we are in the age of n:1 marketing, where customers’ buying decisions and loyalty are guided more by their peers than by the company.
