Senior team additions, promotions and client expansion signal strong momentum

SUNNYVALE, Calif. April 23, 2013 – Eastwick, an independent strategic communications firm focused on the technology market, today announced an expanded executive team, employee promotions, and growth in key practice areas including enterprise, mobile, and cleantech. Acceleration of industry awards and client success signal strong growth for the firm in 2013.

New members of the senior management team include Heather Kernahan, senior vice president, who joins from Enphase Energy, and Karen Reynolds, vice president, who was most recently at HP. With these additions, Eastwick deepens the leadership expertise that ensures strategic collaboration with each client. The agency has also promoted Erin McCabe, an experienced enterprise communicator, to the role of vice president. The firm is currently adding staff at all levels as they continue to provide strategy, content development, influencer and media relations, social engagement and design services to technology clients.

Cleantech, EdTech, Digital Marketing, and Enterprise Practices Expand
Across all technology verticals, Eastwick reports expanded practice areas and client momentum. Eastwick’s cleantech portfolio, led by respected thought leader and journalist Michael Kanellos, has grown more than 100% over 2012, as emerging and mature companies work with Eastwick to engage audiences and drive business growth.

Eastwick’s sister company SocialxDesign, which launched in August 2012 with initial engagements with The White House and the DNC, continues to add value for organizations looking to activate new markets through online and offline engagement. The firm, which recently introduced a service for rapidly developing and testing campaign concepts (The SocialxDesign Innovation Lab), has signed on a number of new clients – including Mondelez (the former Kraft Foods, Inc.), The US Department of Health and Human Services, and Morehouse College, alma mater of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. – through the past quarter.
